Chess in Yugoslavia, April 1999

We received chess news from Neboisa Somborski, correspondence chess champion of Yugoslavia. Two chess events was organized in his town Zrenjanin. On Monday, April 5 all strongest masters of town (Perisic, D.Lalic and Somborski) played against 45 amateurs in the central square of town. Name of event was «Let you down to be mated».
On Friday, April 9, «Pashe Cup» with participation of 16 players was organized. («sudden death» system, 10 min. / game)
