The Internet version in English is an incomplete free of charge analogue for the Russian newspaper named Chess Weekly being issued large formatted on 8 lines since April 2002. Its regular authors are GMs Vladimir Kramnik, Vassily Smyslov and Alexander Morozevich.
Among the authors that often write for Chess Weekly are Mark Dvoretsky, the famous coach, a number of GMs that is: Evgeny Bareev, Sergey Shipov, Viorel Bologan, Sergey Rublevsky, Evgeny Sveshnikov, Mark Taimanov, Ernesto Inarkiev, Correspondence Chess World Champion Grigory Sanakoev, bronze medal holder on composing studies Andrei Vysokosov as well as many other notorious GMs and Ims. IM Vladimir Barsky is acting as editor-in-chief.
Foreign readers can subscribe for the printed newspaper version for a year period (as many as 52 issues) which costs 67 Euro (if delivered by surface mail) and 83 Euro (if delivered by air).
