The festival in Odessa is carried out already in eighth time. Its program traditionally included three events: Chess Hopes tournament, Open Championship of the Chess School and 6th World Champion M.Botvinnik Memorial tournament. For such large city and chess centre as Odessa, the festival still remains modest enough. Nevertheless, the organizers do not stand on a place - amount of the participants is increased; among innovations it is possible to note the publication of the daily tournament bulletin.
