Our chess quizzes are mainly aimed at chess history enthusiasts. They are difficult, requiring deep knowledge of the history of international chess, and the choice of answers can be tricky. Our carefully selected quizzes first appeared in 2004, but the scripts were quickly compromised, so they remained inactive for many years.

Now they are back, fully rewritten using the latest software (PHP 8.5) and are now stable, secure, and extremely user-friendly. You receive immediate confirmation of your answers together with detailed explanations. You are very welcome to give them a try—but beware! They are hard, very hard.

To mark the occasion, we have prepared a brand-new quiz: The Soviets at the Olympiads (and other international team events). Challenge other chess enthusiasts and try to achieve the highest score!
