There is good news coming from the world of chess historians. Massimiliano Orsi, a leading Italian archivist has launched his own blog devoted to the history of Italian chess. Max had been in charge of Italian Chess Federation's (FSI) tournament database, but quit some time ago, and the FSI database has since gone dormant, possibly due to lack of interest.
Massimiliano then decided to launch his own new project. It started only a few weeks ago; but no doubt it will grow fast, and will soon become an excellent source for all kinds of Italian tournaments, filling a huge gap. You are welcome to visit and contribute to his work.
