Tournament Review

The 1987 Investbanka tournament was played in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, from 18 to 31 October 1987. Ljubomir Ljubojević won with 8/11, ahead of Jan Timman on 7.5 and Alexander Beliavsky on 7. Viktor Korchnoi, Predrag Nikolić and Petar Popović shared the next group on 6/11. The final crosstable used Sonneborn-Berger as the listed auxiliary score.
