Tournament Review

In the absence of Ree (graduation), Donner (other tournament obligations), Kuijpers (work), Bouwmeester (work) and Timman (final exam), Coen Zuidema and Eddie Scholl emerged as joint winners. The decider was extremely exciting. After six games the score was tied and a sudden death had to decide the match. Eddie Scholl won and was the new champion of the Netherlands.
