The championship was held along with the 64th FIDE Congress. There were 31 titled players in the pool all in all. Argentina won having six IMs in the team: Spangenberg, Zarnicki, Sorín, Sánchez Almeyra, Adla, Fiorito. India sent just two men and forfeited half of the games.. |
